2017/2018 FIRST SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS.
Kindly recall that Senate at its 294 Regular Meeting held on 4th October, 2018 decided that all students should be recalled from their Mid-semester break in batches to commence clearance at the main gate on 2nd November, 2018.
The first batch comprising 600,500 and 400 level students across all Collages were to start their 1st Semester examinations on the 5th November, 2018.
This is to inform you that the examinations earlier scheduled to start on the 5th November, 2018 unavoidably shifted to Wednesday 7th November, 2018 has now been put off indefinitely.
This is as a result of the Nation -wide ASUU strike and the fact that the National Executive Council (NEC) of ASUU did not grant the University concessions to enable the University conduct 2017/2018 First Semester examinations as scheduled.
All students (all levels) are to stay back and complete their clearance at the main gate unfailingly so that when the ASUU strike is called off, examinations will commence immediately.
Please note that, there will be no more clearance after this period. Only students who have been cleared at the gate will be considered legitimate students.
The above is communicated to you for guidance and necessary action please.
